How do you pull the flywheel off of a VH4D Wisconsin engine? I have the nut off, but there are no points to pull from. Some of the Wisconsin flywheels have threaded holes to attach a puller, but not this one. I am hoping that some one out there knows a trick or two.

Curt,

Book shows a brass mallet to hit the crank.

It's on a taper , I usually use two pry bars to

take up the end play and swat it a couple of

licks on the end and whala it jumps off.

George, or any one else. I have a problem with a vh4d engine on a trencher. It backfired and now will not start. Any idea on what the problem might be?
