I want to identify a four cylinder flathead Continental Red Seal engine in my Fairbanks-Morse 18.75 KW generator. The engine tag reads: Engine model EPS364. The cylinder head is stamped: F401A363 I pulled the head and measured bore and stroke and it appears to be 3 7/16" bore by 4 3/8" stroke which calculates to 162 cubic inches. Is this maybe a F162 with a newer model name? It is setup for a 12 volt system, has a Zenith carb with an automtic electric choke, Presolite distributor, etc. I want to get a head gasket for it and also find out the head-stud tightening torque, the valve tappet clearance specs. and the ignition timing specs. the old head gasket has the part # 1634 on it. Any help appreciated.
