Vf4 dies under load, fuel pump diaphram seems ok to look at,but leaks a little fuel out 4 holes on bottom of pmp. fuel must be getting thru diaphram some how.Are holes there to keep fuel from getting into crankcase?Engine runs fine until load on it. Where can I get a new diaphram?Line is clean and primes ok with lever. Thanks Scott

it would be cheaper to go to an auto parts store and buy an electric pump if this is an electric start model. Fuel pumps for Wisconsins can be quite pricey, low pressure elctric can be had for about 35.00

To JT, Can the diaphram be replaced?, or can I get material to make one? This is an old crank start. No electric. Thanks Scott

If you can get me the spec off engine or the number stamped on the fuel pump, might be able to answer that question.

To JT, I was talking about the hydraulic pump. It,s made by Webster Electric, Racine Wisconsin. Mod#2HES1-1 or H-7. I don,t know if this company is still in Business? I just want to know how many HP it takes to run it properly? Thanks again Scott

NAPA should have rebuild kits, or complete pumps.

You can get these from a dealer or service place, or they show up on e-bay fairly often.
