Recieved 3 generators this week and need to get at least one to run if possible. 1st one is an Onan 4.0 which I assume is a 4kw set? Needs a coil. Where is a reasonable if any place to buy a carburetor kit and a coil for a CCK engine with regular battery ignition and the double wire coil? where could I find wiring diagram for this unit? Looks like it feeds battery voltage in to the field coils to act as a starter to crank it. It appears to have had a remote start set up also Any help will be nice. Thanks; Gene Davis

Hi Gene,

I have found your note posted last year from a google search.

I am trying to find some parts for an old Onan gasoline engine. The heads on mine are damaged and due to its age I don’t seem to have many spare parts places to turn to here in Australia.

I am wondering how you went in your search for those parts in the US? Could you please tell me if you may have any leads to parts for an NC Onan engine. The full details are: Model No: NH MS/2057C Serial No: 0771 314848.

I look forward to your reply

Regards Gino
