Went to the Cummins Tool Road show today and walked away with a 12V winch. Got it home and proceded to yoink a big pine snag from the woods behind my house.

I'd like to know how long I can run this gadget on my 2N's 12V battery (650 cca) before the bat runs out.

There is no amperage spec in the manual, but the winch is rated at 1 ton (dead weight) and 3 ton (rolling)

Who knows ?

I have a winch mounted on the tongue of my trailer for loading cars. I was running it off of a deep cycle battery. It would pull 6 cars onto the trailer in between charges. If you leave the tractor running while pulling, you should never have a low battery.
