We bought one together with a neighbor, it is a 2 stage Nissan mast adapted to 3pt. We use it to move pallets of seed and it works pretty good but I think we are going to strip down our IH 715 Hydro combine to mount it on. I think we paid around $1,000 for it at an auction but you can find them cheaper.

I've got a homemade one that I use for moving pallets of 85# bails (7 bales per pallet), hauling posts, fencing supplies, generator and welder, etc. It's pretty handy when you have the pallets set up for different chores. I'd guess a used Cat. 1 forklift would go for 30-50 dollars.

30 to 50-- I think you mean $300 to $500 don't you , thats where they are around here. Also watch weight. saw one made with an extended mast on a AC 7020 and with a pallet of seed corn it made the tractor real light in the front.

Ooooops! I was referring to a 3-point actuated forklift without a mast!
