I've got a chance to buy about 100 1" drive inpact sockets and about another 100-150 #5 spline impact sockets at a good price. They range in size from I believe 3/4 up to about 2" in the 1' drive, and from ? to around 4" in the spline drive. I know there's a market out there for the 1" drive stuff, but I wanted to test the waters a little bit on the spline drive stuff before I make a commitment to buying all of them. Most of the 1" stuff is new or nearly so (I stocked my service truck out of the pile 5 years ago) and I'd say 90% of the spline stuff is the same way. I would be able to sell them for about 1/3-1/2 the price of new based on what the guy is asking for them now, if there is enough interest to justify the initial investment. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Wayne.

I have a bunch of 3/4 inch up to 1 1/2 inch impact sockets and spline drive sockets that are brand that I never got use of. the regular impact sockets go anywhere from 1 inch to 4 1/2 inch. do you know anybody looking to buy these from me. If not do you mind me asking what you paid for the ones you were looking at?

Anybody interested in the spline drive sockets can get an adaptor from SnapOn Tools or a good tool supplier and you can use them anywhere you want except in real tight spots. One thing about spline drive is not every thief would know what he had unless he's been a mechanic at sometime or another and I've got no use at all for a tool thief!! I got ripped off at my place of employ 21 years ago and it still hurts!

I don't know if there's much of a market for the splined sockets. I work in mining, we use a lot of big sockets, and at the four different operations I've worked at I have yet to see a single splined socket. They've all been 1" or 1-1/2" square drive.
