When slicing corrugated roofing I use a method an elderly roofer showed me 40 years ago, get a piece of baling wire, six to eight feet long, at least. Fix one end of the wire to the end of a like length 2x4 or 2x6, put the board under the sheet metal to be cut, with the free end of the wire protruding from the metal, and the board in line with the cut, pull up on the wire, with it between your feet, the feet hold the sheet metal down, continue to pull, and align the cut where you want it. Can pull a wire through about six feet of metal a minute, without any noise. Once it starts going, pulls rather easy. Just a nice way to do it especially out where there isn't any power. Use a cheap carbide blade- 7.99 -9.99 turn it backward. It will be hard on the ears, eyes & hand - so get prepared.

As Dave said - I just built a shop with the same metal and used a regular combo blade that was too dull for wood anymore, mounted backward, in the circular saw. Safety glasses and ear plugs are a must.

Around here, carpenters use plywood blades in a skill (circular) saw. The plywood blade is thin with a lot of teeth but it won't be any good for anything else when you're finished. As noted already, it makes a lot of noise. Hearing and eye protection are a must.

I've used a Skilsaw. It'll trash the blade, so use an old one. (Been there, trashed one).

Check out the New Craftsman all material twin blade saw. One blade ratate one direction and the other blade the opposite direction. Saw can be used to cut forward or backward.

I have turned an old sawblade backwards in my skillsaw, and cut a whole lot of sheets that way. It really screamed but the steel just sort of melted it away in front of the blades path. An air nibbler is probably the best way to do it. Not nearly as hard on the ears.
