China is buying up all the steel they can get, from all around the world. It's all going into the big dam they are building there.

There are 80 of those Super high rise cranes in existence in the whole world.20 of those cranes are now in China building high rise buildings there alone. And that is only the tip of the iceberg as to what is going on in China.

The price of junk here was up to $145 ton but lately the botom has been dropping out of it. Every other truck on the road was hauling junk. Priced taking some off the other day and they said $20-$80

Don't doubt it, look where the lumber is going. To rebuild Iraq, I saw a yard a week ago, really stockpiling lumber. Figure this guy has an angle. Plus have you priced lumber lately? It may be just the beginning.

A friend of mine that runs a ground rod plant said the price of their raw materials has almost tripled in the last year due to scrap going to China.
