Going to put up some snow fence this year. Is the plastic snow fence as good as the wooden ? How many years will the plastic last ? Thanks in advance for your help.

I've got a few sections of plastic fencing that have lasted over five years. No sign of wear.

I think the key is making sure it's fastened well, and that the fence is drawn tight. If you have loose ends flapping in the breeze, it will get damaged easily.

I use zip ties to fasten it. Steel "T" post ever 10 feet, and about four zip ties to each post.
