I'd like to have a small hydraulic boom to lift awkward heavy pieces onto a double axle trailer or possibly even the 2500 pickup. Is there a small boom made that can be mounted onto a trailer?
Thanks

I have the same sort of affair working off my tracror 3 point hitch, but no boat winch. How much weight can a boat winch lift, straight up?

Yes, I also have a fine wench. She even helps me load wood. I've been thinking about buying a winch for the wench so we she can pull the logs closer to the trailer.

Yes, I have one on my flat bed pickup truck. Only problem is as you lift the load gets closer to the boom and it doesn"t reach low enough to pick things up off the ground. So I added a wench to it and now it works just great, and sure does save on the back which in my case is bad any ways

Yes many uses.
Before it was to tighten bolts and now to pick up heavy items.
I like my wench because she cooks good and I can prove it.
Well let me get off of here before that wench uses one of those cooking items on my head.

Just for the fun of it, go to e-bay sometime and do a search for "wench".
