I need help with any ideas on what I can do to keep the clutch on a stihl chainsaw from sticking or locking up!!!! Thanks in advance....

The bearings for the clutch may be full of saw dust or dirt. Remove the clutch, clean and relube the bearings. Scott

Chain saw clutches are a pretty simple affair: A couple spring loaded weights which expand against the inside of a drum. If it"s sticking, probably spring broke, or parts are badly worn. Best suggestion is a replacement clutch assembly. Not very expensive.
