Can't get the governer/idle control to work on my lincoln sa-200. It has the f163 cont. engine, the diaphram is good in the idler and the lever moves on the governer when you rev it up. I need to know the correct way to adjust everything to make it work the way it should. It was screwed up when I bought it and my tinkering with it hasn't helped. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you unhook the idler the engine should run

1400 RPM , if not adjust that first. Idler is

hooked to over ride the force of the governor

and pull to idle. Set vacuum valve to the desired

delay time before idle, closed it will run at

1400 , full open it will idle as soon as you

lift the welding rod . Be sure you have the

lever with the coil spring in it on the throttle

shaft .
