back in may joe md posted about the husquvarna titanium trimmer line. seems like all the lines i try melt up in the head or just keep breaking, so i figgure what the heck, stopped at lowes, picked up a spool of the husky line, .080 was around 9 dollars for a 200 ft spool. holy cow!!!! that stuff works good!!!! never melted, it will cut thru thistles, burdock, ragweed and such like there is no tomorrow. spool never jammed either, you can go thru the whole spool without a problem. thanks again joe md for the tip!!

If no one will give me grief over safety violations, I'll tell you I "adapted" a Wal-mart special head to take slivers of combine sicle blades...

I found that it cuts through the plastic risers for my garden water quite nicely as well.
It's hot stuff all right.
I cleaned under my 3000' of electric fence last night; blackberries, grass, coarse stem weeds and only used 1.5 spools and three tanks of fuel; oh yeah, and a couple of Advil.

Hmmm... might have to give that stuff a try. I usually use Stihl, but for $9....
