If I combine two air compressors on the same line do I add the CFM together or do I just get the higher of the two compressors ratings. 5.7cfm @ 90 psi and 4.3cfm @ 90 psi = 10 or 5.7? Thanks

Depends. If the two compressors are connected together without any check valves to stop backfeeding from one tank to the other. Its possible that only one compressor will kick on and run. If you draw off enough air, fast enough, the pressure may drop enough that the other one will also kick on. Depends on the settings of the pressure switches.
