I got a sale paper today from Harbor Freight.
In it was listed a T Post Puller for $19.
Plus I got a coupon for 15 percent off.
I have been wanting a T post puller.
But I am always hesitant about Harbor Freight stuff.
What do y'all think of a T post puller from Harbor Freight.
Will it hold up to tough use or is it a wimpy made tool.
Anyone have one. What do you think of it.
I'd like to know if I'm about to waste $19.
Thanks.

I got one of these and finally got a chance to use it today.
Pulled one post that I thought would be impossible. Came right out.
Pulled a second post that I knew was impossible. Came right out.
Tried to pull a 3rd post that I thought would be easy and the handle broke.
Choices now are hope to find the receipt and return/exchange it
or fix it myself and beef it up some.
I figured the handle would bend but
instead it broke right at the fulcrum point.
Other than that, it would be a great tool.
Just needs to have the handle made sturdier.

I have a HF T-posst puller. I"ve pulled dozens of T-posts with it, and it has always worked great. It"s one of the most useful handtools I ever bought!!!

Harbor Freight just recently opened a new store near here. Because of price and loss leaders, I stocked up on some tools I've needed to replace. Several gravity flow paint guns, an air file, an air drill, impact wrench, angle grinder, etc. So far, all have met or exceeded my expectations. The paint guns, air drill and impact wrench were loss leaders at $9.99 each for a few days.

On the flip side, their sanding discs aren't all that great and are priced just as high as better ones, their cut-off wheels wear out too fast, but all in all, I've been satisfied with the place. Like in any retail establishment, you have to know your merchandize and know what the item you're looking at is priced at elsewhere.

BTW, I made my own T post puller, but I can't see where there's that much that can go wrong with a store bought one.

Sounds good to me then.

I guess if it ain't sturdy enough I can weld it up better

or even copy the design to make one to pull the most stubborn T post.

Thanks.

I have had a HF post puller and a horse fence stretcher for years. Both of them have been great. I can't say the same for some other tools I have bought at Harbor Freight. Both of these items a pretty well made.

Dad and I have been using one of them from Harbor Freight for years. Not a lick of trouble with it. Thing of it is that it's so simple of a design if something does give on it you should be able to repair it very easily. Saves a lot of labor and bent posts.

I got one on sale about 1 year ago, it is not really heavy duty of course but has worked fine for me.
unless the wide thingy on the bottom of the post is under a root it just pops them up easially. I really like mine.

A small woman can pull TPosts with one of those.
