I have a chainsaw that has a automatic chain/bar oiler... Problem is its excessive. While running it will drip oil from below and sling it like mad out the end. HELP... what do i need to do.???

Take the bar off, there will be a little screen in a grove, its kinda hard to see, but clean that screen out and you might have to adjust the oiler on the saw. but clean that screen first . good luck.

Got a manual? Or call a dealer. Some saws had an adjustment screw to control this. Use the recomended oil, not too thin. Don't set the adjustment ( if there is one) too light or you will burn up your bar real fast. I know, I did. Good luck, Gus.

A lot of automatic oilers are set to use oil at the same rate as gas, if your saw is doing this then leave it alone if however the oil tank runs out before the fuel does check to see if it is adjustable. Remember bar and chain oil is a lot thicker and stickier than motor oil and will not run out as fast
