I will start... 1/16th thru 3/8 Craftsman combo drill bit set, magnetic tray, PVC cutter pliers and a Craftsman saws all, and a Craftsman shop broom....I am very HAPPY!

Remember, the one with the mostest at the end wins!

To Ken C. CNKS, RobMD & ColoKen and anybody else that I may have offended.

I am sorry for my "those with the mostest..." comment, it was offered as tounge in cheek.
I assure you that I am a Christian, one of the first things I did yesterday morning at 4:30am as I was getting ready to go to work was to pray and thank God for sending His Son as our Saviour and for my wife and our 7 yr. old son and our home.

I know my comment was completely backwards of what we/I believe but I thought a little levity was ok on here, I am sorry y'all didn't recognize it for a joke that it was...I don't post up here much, all those on the OT Politics ect....board know my convictions and thoughts on these issues, I am really very conservative.

Sincerely,

Logan

I got to enjoy the peace and quiet of my own home in my own way without listening to a bunch of folks preach at me about the Meaning of the Season.

New bench grinder, the smiling faces of eight grandkids, and darn near my entire family on Christmas eve, for the second year in a row. Ken, sorry about the wife.

The most valuable thing I got was to watch my 18 mo. old grandson open his presents, also the surprise on his face when he seen his JD riding tractor under the tree.

All the JD collector items my family got me are great too.

I think I did pretty good. I got a new blood pressure monitor. Maybe not a workshop tool, but danged handy to have if you have high blood pressure and want to make sure the meds are working. Also got a ego boost. Daughter couldn't open a jar of blue cheese dressing, handed it to her husband (26 YO and in excellent shape) and he couldn't open it. He handed it to me, took a couple grunts and a towel on the lid, but I got it open. Naw, I didn't rub SIL's nose in it, much...

I got to open the carton of egg nog today.

I got to sleep in this morning.

I got two days off work [I'm on salary].

My wife and I got to spend time this weekend with my 3-month-old grandson, my daughter, her fiance and his daughter, my sister-in-law and her husband, and my mom.

I got a phone call from my son who's stationed in Iraq, and my wife and I got to visit with his girlfriend.

I got to see that I am loved at least as much as I love those persons mentioned above...so I think that means I WIN!!!

Got a few odds and ends that really don't have much meaning. Dad bought me a nice tractor book with tons of great color pictures that I will no doubt enjoy looking through on those slow days. But, my best gift of all was a visit from my oldest son and his wife and our new and first granddaughter. What a joy it was to spend time with family.

I guess I didn't sense Logan had lost the true meaning of Christmas. His gifts sound pretty practical to me. I sure wouldn't mind having any one of them. While we're all at different stages in life, there's a little boy inside all of us. We all like getting something new. I don't doubt Jesus would have appreciated a new set off wood chisels or a new hand saw to use in the carpenter shop. While he is indeed the King of the universe, he is a practical God too.

I agree 100%, if it weren't for Jesus, everything would be meaningless, but the giving and receiving of gifts is to remind us of the greatest Gift of all.

We had a wonderful Christmas. My 91 year old dad spent the day with my wife, three teen-age children, and myself.

I got a set of SAE and Standard long box/open end wrenches, a stereo for my pickup, and a Strong's Bible concordance.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Glenn F.

"the one with the mostest at the end wins"

This is not what Christmas is about. I take no pride in materials, no matter if new or what.

"This is not what Christmas is about."

Didn't get what you wanted huh.

"I take no pride in materials, no matter if new or what."

Never washed your truck or tractor? Painted the house? Think about it, your statement is hard to believe. Unless your a monk living in a cave with an internet connection.
No offense intended!

Oh you're DAM straight I got what I wanted. FOOD.

And in case you were wondering, Christmas is about giving as he gave himself. Well, woe to me, for I am slacking off with giving. I'm not quite Self-righteous, more like an idiot.

Yeah, I got all of the basics down. I make life somewhat interesting but I don't really ask for things I don't need. If that makes any sense, dunno.

Peace , Joy & Appreciation for the Birth of Jesus Christ was what I received today . Material items are of no importance to me . I've yet to see a hearse pulling a uhaul behind it to the cemetary . Lets put The real meaning of CHRISTmas at the center of CHRISTmas & God bless all .Ken

Amen to that Ken. I am alone and wanted nothing. Got too many "things" now and a problem to get rid of in my old age. Got A nice card and a can full of home made CC cookies, which I really enjoy. Gifts are for the kiddies. Kennyp

Yes , I'm a loner too after 33 yrs of marriage (wifes decision not mine) . I had a nice day with my kids at the one daughters home , wondeful dinner , received a 20.00 gift card for gasoline & a new pair of slacks . I had no money to buy gifts so I made everyone something in my woodshop . Almost like the little house on the prairie show .The kids all showed respect for my situation & showed appreciation . They at least know my heart was in the giving side & not recieving . Had a very nice day myself .. God bless, Ken
