After posting the last message about the lack of power that was intermitant we changed the MCV Pump on my 806D. Yesterday after this I pulled up to a pile of dirt and loaded it in the bucket in 2 low it had such power it churned both tires. Then turned around and put it in 2 high to move the dirt about 200 yards and it did fine in 2 high. Then I came back to the pile, put it in 2 low and loaded another bucket, again it churned the tires with great power, I put it in 2 high and it would basically not move, barely if it all. I am really baffled by this. Can the clutch do this? Could this be temperature related? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

George

You need to inspect the dump valve spool adjustment which is connected to the clutch linkage. You could also have a gasket or different spool problem in the multiple control valve itself. Did you disassemble, inspect & re-gasket the valve housing when you installed the new pump?
