Wheelhorse tractors have been bought out by Toro. As far as I know they are still manufactured in Southbend, IN.

I own a 1973 and 1976 wheelhorse tractor and can regularly get parts thropugh the local Toro dealer.

If all else fails, there is a large former wheelhorse dealer in Sheboygan Falls, WI that can seem to get anything a person needs. I don't remember their name but they should be easy to find through the Toro dealer network.

What parts are you looking for?

I have a '73 wheelhorse garden tractor 12 kohler and would like a manual.

Local Toro has given me a copy but the print and detail is faded. It looks more like left over pages that were copied.

Any source for a good/original manual?

Greetings,

I am considerings the purchase of a wheel horse garden tractor for lawn cutting. This unit is currently undergoing an overhaul. I would like information on the last production year. I would also appreciate any recommendation you may have to purchase this product and a any general purchase price suggestions that may be available.
I am told by the seller. A local small engine repair shop that wheel horse is an excellent product. He reported that this units manufacture date id unknown to him. He is asking $675.00. This unit appears to be in 12-15 HP standard garden mower group.

Thank yopu in advance for any information you can provide.

Larry Griffin
