I really like them for quick reference, but can't say I've bought any recently. Last Deere dealer I worked for, we had hundreds of them, and I now have them all here. I've got three stacks, each three feet high. I especially like the Standard Units editions with all the carb, magneto,and other component tech. data. Most have price tags on them of $3 each and a few $2.50, so things have changed a bit. They are concise and leave out all the fluff. For that reason, I prefer them over factory manuals for many repairs. If I have to do something in depth, then I use the factory manual. When I buy a manual for something specific, I don't need it to waste paper on instructions on "how to use a screwdriver", or how to work safely, etc., &c. Many of the older I&T manuals used to use a common phrase - which I love - "assembly is self-evident." Translated, they are saying - if you are too d*mn dumb to figure this one out, there's no hope for you."
