I'm just trying to get some of the tin straight on our 1941 Case V. Good little running tractor but the fenders are a little rough. If I complete it that would make 2 JDs and 2 Cases restored.

I have two projects going on. Complete redo of a
1937 WC, which is half done and now needs paint
and assembly. Other job is putting the 3-point
hitch on my Mercedes Unimog tractor. Have all the
parts it's just the time.

Too much....Scrounging parts for a new undercarriage for the 20th Century traction engine,... Workin on fixin what other people busted on my Oil pull "pup",... Trying to find the jerk what stole the kid's wheelhorse,... Getting a model hit 'n miss ready to ship to a customer in Japan,... Fixin up the wife's piece of junk S-15 Jimmy for inspection,... Laying and bending some sectional 4-3/4" gauge track for another customer...workin on website stuff for the biz, AND the Portersville club,...probably should also be doin a few things that I've totally forgotten about, but at least I won't have to feel bad about those until somebody complains, and reminds me. ;)

Just seems the hurrier I go, the behinder I git :(

I'm with Allen, too much going on! Yesterday I cleaned out the cab and put new seat covers on my latest purchase, 1973 F-250 for $200. Got to fix the fan idler pulley on my MF 2775, wheel bearings and put a heater in the cab of my Ford 9600, new front driveshaft and pinion seal for my '71 Chev pickup. Have to clean out the shed and put the baler away, etc etc!

I'm about half way done with restoring my '56 Farmall 300(which I saved from the junkyard).

Just sandbalsted and primed the tractor last week. Engine's rebuilt, and accessories are painted. All that's left is the transmission and the T/A to go thru...plus tires.. Dang, this is getting expensive! (but it sure is fun!)

Next projects on the list:
'76 F150 Ford pickup(needs new box and paint job)
'47 1/2 ton Dodge pickup(street rod or restore?)

Of course that might change if i get my hands on that W-4 or WD-6 in the neighbor's grove...but then I spotted that MV LP the other day.. I need a bigger shop!

I am restoring a 1939 AC WC. She hasn't run in about 5 years. Have reworked the head, new valves and ground seats. New muffler and manifold. New fluids and wires. I have not had the time to put the head and valves back on,but hope to do so and hear her run by this weekend. She has been quiet too long!
I will let you know if she lives again this weekend. Wish me luck!

Working with and on a '49 Cub. Was running and had a belly mower when I bought it, had the dealer blast and paint it, install new brake bands and fix the clutch.

I've done miscellaneous repairs and maintenance since then. Governor linkages were worn and sloppy, repaired them, straightened some tin, repaired the new brakes when the rods snapped off the bands (defective factory welds, I drilled them and put in small bolts), adjusted regulator (wasn't charging), fixed toe in, adjusted valves, replaced fan belt, changed fluids and oil filter, lubed all grease/oil points etc.

Hydraulics won't stay up, will do a rebuild on it later this year. In the meantime, a chain keeps mower where I want it.

Heckuva fun little tractor and a solid mower. Need more grass to mow.

I've got my brother's '49 Farmall M. He bought it nearly 2 years ago and was all enthused about restoring it, he bought most of what it needed(belt pulley, pto shield, battery box, battery), but has never laid a wrench on it or done any cleaning or sanding. At the Portland show I bought a new seat, seat spring, grill screen and another set of wheel weights for it, so it's pretty much complete now and I guess I'll just go ahead and finish it as I find the time. I bought a "donor tractor" which supplied the rear rims and one front wheel it needed and got all this on the tractor now.

We are about ready to reassemble our Super C. Did and engine job, new clutch and then comes the painting. Trying to get it ready for an early October show.

I've got to put the replacement 5 speed in the Fiat, and do a front end alignment.

The Spitfire is to get one of the overdrive trannies put in. As well as it's racing suspension bits (higher rate & lower height springs, larger brakes, etc). Hopefully I'll get the turbocharger project done this winter. Don't know about the propane conversion.

The Volvo is to get some underchassis rust work done, as well as some new suspension bushing and the window switches cleaned up and repaired. Oh, and it needs a tranny fluid flush.

Or do you mean tractors? :-) The 8N is going to sit there being ignored. It runs most of the time, that's good enough.

The case V is a nice little tractor. I'm restoring a JD A (51) got everthing apart, cleaned, and put back together, working on the hood now. Guess I should take it to the body shop for a better job, but want to do it myself.

I'm working on my 69 MF 135. It was missing a few bits of tin, which I've purchased and installed. I would like to paint it (so faded it looks more like a Kubota than a MF!). The hood and fenders are a little rough; what's the best way to straighten out the dents (yourself)? Also, does anyone know if the "Painting Your Tractor" video is worth buying (from yesterday's tractors).

I don't know anything about the video from this site but the link below has a pretty good video that is focused towards cars but most of it would be the same for tractors. I have the video below and I can say it was well worth the $35. A good body hammer and dolly set would be the best way to straighten sheet metal but these old tractors have pretty thick metal and sometimes you have to get kind of agressive with it. Just take you time, get it as close as you can and finish up with as little body filler as possible.

Well I'm trying to rebuild my distributor the bushing is wore out you would think they would put one in when you buy a rebuilt wouldn’t you? My advice to any one kneading a rebuilt part rebuild it your self you will be ahead if you rebuild the part your self and probable save sum money al sow I think I'm going to have to make the bushing and I’m converting to 12V wish me luck rod
