Do they still make Michigan loaders?
We have been prepping a 1973 All wheel steer loader for paint whewn we are slow in the shop. I was curious if they still make Michigan loaders? Anybody know anything about the history of Michigan loaders?

If you need parts, Volvo Dealers in the mid west,
Sweeney In Burnsville, Mn (Minneapolis)
Spreitzer In Cedar Rapids Ia
McCallister In the Chicago Area
Rudd Equipment in IN,KY,PA, and VA
Parts are expensive, aren't they always?

What are you doing with a handle of a JD790 which should be an EX220 Hitachi? Do you own a 790 digger?

I have a John Deere model 790.... 30hp compact 4X4 tractor. I have a loader, tiller and a mower and back blade for the little bugger. It has sure saved me from shoveling snow. Haven't had to chain it up. I have not found a old project tractor yet! Some Day! The boys finished painting the Michigan today!
She is just as ugly as she was before!

I just came in to posssion of a Michigan Front Loader. I have never dealt with anything of this nature. My area of expertise is with little British sports cars. Hence, the need for the front loader. If anybody can lead me in the direction of resto-parts or any info on the machine. I have nothing at this point but, I do believe I can get a vin# and model# off metal plate in cab. Please help! Wife is not crazy about the four wheel planter sitting in the back yard. The machine is rough. DIG ME DON'T BURY ME !

Clark Equipment merged with Volvo in 1985 to form VME Group, or Volvo, Michigan, Euclid. In 1988 it was changed to Volvo BM. In 1995 it was agin changed to Volvo Construction Equipment. That is what it is now known as. Hope that helps.
