I have a chat room at my web page. I dont have the time to be there very much, but you folks are welcome to use it. The only thing I ask is that we keep it clean. You never know when a young person might stop in.

Might want to look at some of Larry Harsin's comments. There is one relevent comment for a S55 diesel on the current page and several in the archives. Bet the head is also cracked but it may not cause a problem.

Don't think your question is answerable for a pulling situation.

Nice comment in Larry Harsin's tractor chat.
Comparable to something nomad would say. He signed his name Bradshaw. How can this jerk be silenced?
What a puke.
That looked like a good site to go to even just to look around. I put it on my favorites.

Chat doesn't work for me either. Perhaps we should list our id's for Yahoo! Messenger or AOL instant messenger, etc. then we could talk about our particular brand, etc.

Good idea? Or not?

Steven

Hey that doesn't sound like a bad idea. I am a little new to the YT pages, just recently found them. I am in the military and stationed accross the pond in England. Have 12 months left here before going back stateside for hopefully my last base before I get out. Planning on going back home to the farm, and to hopefully get into the repairing, restoring, and maybe some selling of the older farm equipment as a hobby. It will also have to make me some profit. If there is an active chat room, or maybe Yahoo Messenger, let me know. I wouldn't mind chatting with a few people that are doing this now. I spent 7 years doing it for a living, and still (from time to time) do maintenance and troubleshooting for friends and family. You wouldn't believe how many problems I have solved over the phone that people have spent hours trying to fix. So if you don't mind let me know if there is a chat/etc. started up. I also would like to chat and learn some things from people that are actively involved in this now.

later days mates, Jim

Jim,
Are you in Norfolk or Suffolk? Lots of old tractors and clubs in this area.
