Is that what used to be Delco Remy that was on so many Generator and starter tags? Sad to see them go, they built good products.

It was Delco-Remey until they were spun off from General Motors.

If your company is spun off from GM, it means they have extracted every bit of value possible from the operation. The remaining employees are liabilities to be dumped. Reference Delphi Corp, Guide Corp, and some smaller units split off from Fisher Body Division. If GM cuts ya loose, it's not because you were profitable.
