Does anyone know anything about the Avery Road Razer? It was made by the Avery Company, Peoria, Illinois--as part of "The 1923 Avery Line"? I'm asking on behalf of my dad, who is an antique tractor collector. He thinks he may have the only one now in existence. If you know anything about this particular tractor or know someone who does, we'd be very interested in speaking with you. Many thanks.

Contact the Dale Hawk Museum, Wolford, North Dakota (701) 583 2381.

They have one in one of their Quonsets. Just saw it earlier today at their annual farm show!

Thanks, Bob. My dad is delighted! He has tried to find someone who knew of another one for the last 20 years. Ah, the power of the internet!

Let me know (you may email me direct) what you find out from the Hawk Museum. They have a number of volunteers, and the info you get may depend on who you get on the phone. The museum is only 25 miles fom me, and I'll probably get over there again soon, and could take some pictures for you, if you'd like.

Thanks for the kind offer, Bob. I don't see your email address on your posting but if you'll send it to me at greer_g@bellsouth.net, I'll be sure to let you know how he does. GE
