Hello, I have some questions about a engine I am looking at buying. I have only ever delt with tractors so this is new to me. First it is a John Deere type W engine. I didnt write down the serial number. Anyways. I know it is stuck. But overall looks to be in good shape, no cracks in the block ect... I have a few questions. One is it suppose to have a radiator??? I think it should but it doesnt look like it did. Second what is one of these worth in this shape??? I dont know what to offer him. Third how many were made and what are they useful for?? Were they the same as a D engine??? Looks like it is about that size, or is it a motor of its own. Thanks Brad

They also sold one that was used to drive a well pump and used the pumped water as a coolant.
This model had no radiator.
