Went to an estate auction Saturday in Madison, GA . Sold JD handstart A- $2200, fair shape. JD handstart B-rough running- $1800. JD MT Fair shape $3000. JD manure spreader with spoke wheels, fair shape $500. JD 12A Combine fair..not sure if it would work or not..$500. Only thing I bought was an old wooden chicken crate to go on my Dads A model car. Just wondering if these prices were a little steep?

Don't know about the prices, but have a funny story to share about chicken crates. My daughter went off to college a few years back and she and her boy friend,(now hubby) kept raving about the neat bookshelf they had bought at a flea market that had adjustable shelves. When I finally saw it, it was a cleaned up and varnished wooden chicken stood on end with the top removed and pine boards cut to length to make shelves and you simply put them on the matching rungs to get the spacing you wanted! After I told her what it was, she was even more proud of it and has it in her houde now. Gene
