I have a case VAC that has calcium chloride in the tires. every few years i have to replace the valves because they get eaten out. are there special valves that aren't affected by the Calcium chloride?

Consider tossing the Calcium and going to alcohol.
It won't eat up your rims. The local tire shop has
used alcohol for several years.

Ihave worked for Good Year Ag tire store for the past 20+ years and I have never heard of a valve just for cal. chlr. They are all the same.

That's what I thought too. Never heard of a special valve for CaCl.

Sorry about that guys, SST must be exclusive to Indiana I guess. The Goodyear farm tire store here doesn't have a clue either, the privatly owned tire store I patronize has them. I took a nearly new truck tire to them with a 1/2" bolt in the tread; they installed a combination boot and plug that sealed the hole and restrengthened the tire. I phoned several tire stores and none knew of the boot/plug repair(can't recall the name they used).

Yes, SST. Ask a farm tire shop.
