My power steering went out on my ford 2000 cause of fluid leekage and reservoir going dry. When I filled the reservoir back up the power steering returned to the right but when turning back to the left fluid came gushing out of the steering column under the steering wheel. Is there some sort of a seal that ruptured or is there just air in my system that needs to be bled or did i screw something up royally.I've never messed with power steering too much so am looking for ideas. Thanks

Our 3000 did that twice. Needs the shaft seal replaced.
