I just bought a used pull pan;a Soil Mover brand, that has a dolly on front and two tires on the tail. Will somebody give me some tips on using this?It holds about 1.5 yards and I plan to pull it with a Ford 5000. Thanks

Carl, The Soil mover brand was built in columbus neb, I don't have any more literature on it . The one I
have is 3 pt with 2 wheels mounted inboard in the rear. Apron is attached to 3rd pt and open as arm are lowered. Bowl latches flat to load ,trips to
45 deg to spread or grade , and can roll further
to dump a load. I think this one is a gledhill but could be an overland scraper ,there is no ID on it.This one was sold new with an 8N ford imitation
tractor , worked well for finish grading but 8N lacks power to fill the bowl in a cut. I ran it
several years then bought a near new 300 case ,
boy what a step up , also use a 730 case diesel on it when I need to make serious cuts .I mostly use it for finish grading before using landscape
rake, it will put a dozer to shame for finish . Send me an email and I'll answer your questions .

Carl, you will not believe the finish you can put on a lawn with a pan like the one you describe. My buddy George is the guy you need to talk to. He has had a pan for years. I'm sure he'll contact you when he sees your post. I would like to know where you purchased your's and how much etc.. Thanks
