I recently obtained an Everett Trencher transmission adapter for N series Fords and which I understand is normally called a Howard unit. Is this a correct match of terms? If I want to sell it, is there any recommendation on what price range these units normally bring? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry to post weeks later. You have an Everett trencher trans unit which is self contained in it's own case right? This is completely different than the Howard "rotovator" trans. The Howard is a set of gears designed to go into the rear end cavity and attached to the back of the standard trans. The Everett is made to bolt between the rear of the trans and the front of the rear end also but it lengthens the tractor by 9 3/4". The Howard is intended for rototilling @ 3.5 to one and the Everett was intended for deep trenching @ 98:1 I have Everetts for both my Jubilee and 8N. I paid $300.00 for the Jube's unit in mint condition and $100.00 for the 8N's with a bearing that needed replacing. As you can tell from the lack of interest on the board, they aren't much sought after. As I already have two tractors with these units, IF you are interested in selling, I could put yours on my shelf for parts? E-mail if so. Good luck!
