What is the difference between these two models ? (the 3294 and 3394) They are listed at the same weight and horse power. What is the difference? Thanks.

the 3294 is basically a juiced up 2290-2294, except the 3294 tractors were all equipped with fwa, either a zf or carraro axle (the carraro axle is a much more reliable axle, though not as sharp turning). also the 3294 was only equipped with 1000 pto, though many have been converted to dual pto since a pto would easily convert over from a 20-2290,94. the 3394 is basically the same tractor tractor design way back to the 12-1370 tractor with some minor upgrades up through the 90 & 94 series. the only real difference from the 90 to the 94 series is the electronic control powershift, which made for a much more reliable trans, since i was not as easy to abuse.
also the 94 series had the option of a 24 speed powershift, and a dual pto is not available for these tractors.

almost forgot, even though both tractors have the 504 case motor and maybe pumping out the same horsepower, the 3394 has a much larger journal crankshaft, believe it or not but the 3294 has the same crankshaft that was used way back to the 930-1030 era.

Thanks, this is good to know. The 3294 looks a little less appealing now.
