You guys up in the northern regions are so lucky to have all that ice and snow. Yesterday down here in Central Florida I went fishing in shirt-sleeve weather (mid-70's) -- looks like we have a week of the same coming up. Really boring. Guess my snowblower is going to remain unused for another year!

Erm, why go to the time trouble and expense to preserve and restore an old tractor, and then leave it uncovered in the winter?

I once heard that only an Englishman would leave his brand new �25,000 car outside on the driveway because his garage was full of junk but now I am not so sure!

Yep! Got the same thing happening here, too. However I keep my old Ford unburied so I can use it to dig myself out (and the neighbors too).

Dan: Pic looks about the way it is here in rural Polk Co, 18 miles W of Salem; all my equipment is under cover; snow Mon was about 12", wet and heavy; now snowing again piling on top of what arrived earlier. Most snow we have had since moving here (outside Dallas 3 mi) back in'92
