This is a pet peeve of mine, so I best not bother commenting - just riles me up.

Might look for different web site to go to tho, as that is what most people tell me to do if I bring it up.

Dern Humans, just ruin a good thing when you'd have it.

I hear you, and if you bring it up you get smart a** replies. I try to stay on the implement forum. They usually stick to implements there.

So if they ask you to kiss their implement, you will know what they're talking about, eh?

Russ, I think YT cuts us a little slack when it gets too cold to do much outside. I think a lot of us get a little stir crazy and will talk about most anything including cars, trucks, girlfriends and whatever. Stick around and by spring or until it warms up enough to get back out in the shed and it will be all tractors again.

This is the best site on the internet. Don't forget to send them some money. So far the worst I see is all the scam buyers try to buy your stuff with fake checks and send them back the extra money scams. So far its still a free country so you take the bad with the good. Buyer and seller beware you can't trust everyone but so far I have had a lot of dealings with good honest people from here. Thanks Everyone !

I don't see a problem with talking about things other than old tractors and combines. After all, tractors are interrelated to every other aspect of life. I just put an ad in for my truck for trade for one with a stick. Where else on the internet could I do that? No other site has a farmer base that would be interested in a '94 F250.

So long as these boards don't plug up with the "looking for discreet meeting" "pay-per-call" "Lower your bills" "please your woman with girth" crap so many other good sites have been ruined by, I'm fine with letting the wind blow whichever direction it pleases. I'm new here but it looks like a great site.

I agree. I enjoy reading about various topics and solving problems. I agree the board could get too involved but lets not jump to that conclusion yet.

Figure there is a lot of experience and knowledge here that can be interesting and of help to one another, something like visiting over the back fence but not restricted to only tractor subjects.

Hi Guy!!

Absolutely great!

I've been working on this walling for my garage in between listening to these doctors. The wife told me this afternoon that we need to get some furniture out there as it is starting to look like a den.

One more big day and I should just about have the last wall up. Then, on to the putting the varnish on. My old body keeps a tellin' me that I'm not 30 anymore. :>)

I'm not going to worry about the ceiling until I'm 62 and in better shape. :>)

I've got one more cylinder to reseal on my loader and then throw some paint at it too while I'm at it. Then, I think I'm caught up so that I can go tractor hunting again. :>)

How's your critters wintering? God! I miss that life style! You are one lucky fellow, you are.

Lets cut some slack. We're dealing with a couple very explainable elements. One, the young or new one's who don't know the rules nor how to read them at the top of this page. Two, the old or senile like myself who not only doesn't know where he's at but can he neither read the fine print at the top of this page.
Trying to keep it together?
Fern suffering old-timer's deisease.
