Many years ago, my grandpa bought a Farmall MD at an auction for his farm in rural MN. (I live right next to it.) BTW, if you go to the vintage photo gallery and search for Farmall MD, you can see a picture of it in 1966. Anyway, he eventually quit using it and it sat in the barn for several years, and then was finally moved outside-- WITH THE HEAD REMOVED!!! Now, I think it would be a lot of fun to try to get it running again (I know how expensive MDs are to repair, but I thought I would just do it slowly so I didn't make myself broke doing it) but you can imagine how badly stuck it is having sat outside for so many years without the head. What I want to know is, is there ANY practical way to get this thing freed up again? Has anyone else had success in a situation like this? Any and all help is appreciated, Nathan P.S. Sorry for being so long winded, but I wanted to get a little of the history of it out there.
