I have a Kubota L3000DT that is about 10 months old. When I first start to drive it when
the motor and everything is cool there are no noises. After I mow, with a 3-point mower, for a
few hours and it warms up it makes a noise in 4th
gear. There is a slight noise in 3rd gear. The
noise makes me think it may be a roller bearing
that is loose or not getting lubrication. This is not a roaring sound.

This only happens when the tractor is moving and
the pto does not seem to have anything to do with
it. None of the lug nuts are loose, and I dont
think it is over heating the guage says its cool
and I keep the radiator and the radiator screen
clean. Thanks in advance

Since the tractor is only 10 mos. old I would think this is a dealer problem. If you get no
satifaction from him then I would try switching
the trans fluid to the synthetic type as it
seems to have the ability to lube better and
stick good when hot. It works real well in my
Unimog 20 speed. If the noise disappeaers, then
you may be in the clear, but if it's still there
further investigation must take place.

Thanks for the advice, it would be nice if it was
something I could fix myself because hopefully I
am going to have this tractor for a long time. I already have pictures of my 3 year old son sitting on it.
