Twin Power was pretty much a 'no cost' feature that Massey put on many of their machines from that era. Basically, it allowed the operator to bypass regular governor control of engine RPM when using the tractor for belt work or when travelling in 4th (road) gear. In these situations, the operator could speed up the engine somewhat past the normal setting. If you email me, I could explain it further and how it works. I have removed the hide feature from my address so just hit on my blue name link above.

Then we made twin power on our old 44 when we hooked a wire on the governor and yanked on it in road gear. But going down Pigeon Roost road it would get to bouncing and the corn plow shovels would plow up the gravel in the road and it scared old folks without a muffler. It was fun being young. Fred OH

The main difference between the Sr and Jr is the engine. The Sr has a F226 Continental 6 cylinder , and the Jr has a 4 cylinder. You should be able to find a jackshaft coupler from a boneyard.
