I know this is off the subject of this board but I think many of us would like to know rainfall totals from the Midwest in the last 10 days or so!! We have had about 6 in central MN.

Over a foot in some areas in South Central Minnesota. In this area, Minnesota has become the Land of 20,000 Lakes.

Howdy folks,

I can't talk myself about gettin lots of rain. We've probably had almost an inch for the month here in Southern Ohio. The thing is it just keeps on poppin up as things are just about to dry out. Can't get a day without a pop up shower. The corn is lovin it but I have alfalfa that is almost shoulder high now (that's when you pick it up off the ground). Same thing happened last year. But as my dad always said, "We always got our crops in. God always provides a time for us." He's right too. We got all our hay in last year and sold every bale of it. So I'll just wait patiently. God bless.

Here in SE SD I've had almost 5 inches in the last two weeks. Last week, just to the north of us, they had 8 inches in two hours.

Here in NE SD we have received about 2" in June so far. Hayland and pastures look better than they have for a long time.

We have had 13-17" since Easter depending who's meter you use. Way too much for Central part of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Way too wet.

Send some down south. No significant rain in 3-4 weeks in northeast Alabama.

Northwest Nebraska 1/4" in the past 5 months. Wheat and hay is gone; burning up. Not even enough to make a salvage crop.

What's with you guys hoarding all the moisture?

Allan

Here on the eastern edge of Nebraska, had about 4 inches in the past week, month of May, close to ten inches, also hail, high winds, pastures green as can be. Looks like most things got planted but hard to get the hay out. Hate to see the old hillsides growing up, with no fences that can hold cattle. John in Nebraska

Wish I could share with you. 15.65" in May (5" above average). June so far 8.6" (and other places in the state more). Rained 1.8" yesterday, about .10 today. Tobacco set in May is mostly gone, blue mold taking what the weeds aren't (too wet to cultivate). Those of us that wrap hay for silage, alfalfa is turning yellow. Those that dont it's setting seed.

All most that bad here in NE Colorado. Some places have no new grass. Local spots-tornados and hail.
