I'd like to buy new or used rims for the front end
of my Farmall M. Is there different quality rims?
What should I look for? Made of what metal? 16" Thanks

is it the older style rim that is held in place w/ clamps? If so go to the junkyard and get a couple of 16" dummy spares, like something off a crown vic, big caddy or other full sized car. Grind welds off center w/ a die grinder and knock the center out w/ a banger. Will go right onto your hub w/ your wedges. If it is the newer type with the "loops" you will have to cut them off your old rims and weld onto new project.not a big deal, have done it several times

If the H and M are interchangeable I have a set of used H front rims on the lawn with "For Sale" sign on them. They are off of a narrow front if that makes any difference. Decent shape.
