I have a 75 1070.I am running the loader on the remote couplers. It worked fine all winter lifting round bales, feeding cows (a little slow but works). Now, the loader still goes up and down with little or no load, but it will not pick-up a bale.It starts to lift, then just stops and seems to lose pressure.Trans presure gauge rises a little and returns to normal, almost immediatly. Now for the wierder part: if I rev-up the tractor to try for more pressure and continue to try and lift a bale, after about 4 sec. the tractor loses all hyd. pressure ( no trans pressure,no power steering)and will not recover. Shut the tractor off for a few seconds, then restart and pressure returns in trans.,steering and couplers. Oil level in site glasses looks good when tractor is shut off but out of site when running(as it should be, I think).
Have tried in-gear with clutch in and out of gear with no clutch, with no luck.Trans works fine in all gears. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Currently I have a 1070 that has very low pressure in 2nd on the powershift but works fine in 1st and 3rd. I think I have an internal leak in the clutch pack... think the bolts are sheared. Try leaving the range in neurtal and shift up to 2nd and 3rd and see what happens to the pressure on the gauge and with the remotes. Let me know how it turns out.

I would ask this question on the Case tractor forum as those boys have a lot of experience with 1070's.
Sounds like some sort of blockage. I would suspect dirt or a malfunctioning remote coupler first. The coupler may be stuck together but not engaging all the way. Hope someone on the Case forum can help you better. That's a great tractor. I wished I had a loader on mine.
