Just bought a 1962 MF 35 gas tractor with a 6' Woods mower (three point mount) and I'd like an approximate weight. I'm going to trailer this little guy and need to know the poundage.

I don't know about the mower, but my old 35 weighs just a little under 4000 lbs with me on it. This is not including any tire fluid or weights. It does have power adjust wheels, which are a little hevier than the stamped wheels.

Tryen to come up with what a tractor weights is hard to do and NEVER EVER just go by SHIPPING weight as shipping weight is a DRY weight and as for my GUESSTA MATION on this with attchement i would have to go with around 6-7000 lbs. And as for tie downs ya need 4 chains of G70 5/16ths for the tractor and One chain for the attchement. if it is hooked to the tractor. Yea i know two chains will hold it but the MAN thinks it needs a total of 5 as somebody has STOCK in a chain and binder co. and wants his stock to go up.
