I'd have to recomend you check with Electric Insurance @ www.electricinsurance.com I found them a few years ago when getting a quote from Gico or Progressive, one of those companies that also gives you other companies rates. I was with State Farm for 30 years before that and Electric saved me 60% for identical coverage. That was without switching my homeowners or farm liability. Those insurances I have with Shelter and even so, Shelter can't get close to Electrics rates on auto insurance. Since being with Electric I've had 1 glass claim and 2 claims where someone has hit my vehicles in parking lots and left without a word. On the glass claim Electric gave me a choise of several places to take the car, where they would pay 100% and guarantee the work. Or, I could take it any place else I wanted and they would pay, but not guarantee the work. That seemed fair, I took it to one of their suggested places, in an hour it was done and I just signed the paperwork. On the other 2 claims I got one estimate sent it to Electric and got a check about 3 days later. I used a different body shop the second time and Electric called me and ask why. I told them that on the first deal the shop had left a rattle in the door, I had taken it back once and they still didn't get it out so I didn't want to use them again. Electric said that was perfectly understandable, take that vehicle also to the second body shop. I had $100 deductable on both but they didn't ask me to pay anything for having the second shop repair what the first shop hadn't done well on that first vehicle. I have to admit I was cautious about switching to a company with no local agent, but at least in my experience with Electric, that was not a problem at all.
