Power is blinking off and on, winds are picking up. Won't be too long before we lose power and the high winds show up. Already getting gusty outside but the "freight train" noise won't be here until about midnight. Max winds should be about 130 mph, except in the tornadoes where the winds will go much higher. Keep us in your prayers--need to shut this thing down and batten down the hatches....

Ivan looks to be a mean one.Like someone said I don't know why you all put up with this ever year.I been told why do I live in an area where winters are so severe. Well I dunno, sometimes the apple just dont roll far from the tree. Our winters are sometimes bad, but not so that we have to name them. be waiting to hear from ya.

No offense but you guys have to be nuts to go thru this almost every year. Rebuild them get wiped out again ,I don't see how you can stand it,And how can you afford insurance I would think it would be costly. Here in ILL we just have floods and tornados nothing like you have. It's almost like the LORD is coming and boy is he pi$$ed. best of luck..

Good luck surviving the storm. Here in Hardee county we were hit by both and the fury of nature is mindboggling. Our county has 75% of the homes seriously damaged, with many blown apart. we'll pray for ya'll tonite.
