Bought a tractor made in Belgium. Has a remote hyd single spool cyl and the in-out ports are currently capped. Attempting to hook up remote hoses and QD's.Tried my 1/2" SAE threads, bought at TSC but this is just slightly smaller which leads me to believe it's metric. Would like to come out of the spool housing with a straight pipe with jamb nut and O-ring, make a quick right angle, and adapt to accept a hose with a male 1/2 pipe (tapered). Have another problem. The holes in the housing are within 2" of oneanother which makes it impossible to install 2 rt angles unless something can spin, like the nut on a flare fitting; where you can hold the right angle part in one position and tighten the nut to make the connection. Maybe the right answer is the straight thread with O-ring and jamb nut adapted into a flare nipple. Then I could get a hyd hose with a flare end (rather than the pipe thread) coming right into a pipe right angle then clamped onto the hose. That should work. Glad you talked me thru that. Sometimes it's good to have a good listener. Grin. I guess a good www metric fitting house is where I need to start. Suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Mark
