HiNot sure if this is the right forum but I could use some help. I do not know tractors as this is my first. I think it is about a 1988 version. It has a loader and a brush mower on it. It has two hydraulic controls for rear attachments, and something called a draft control. When I purchased it I drove it and thought I went through all the gears. I really do not remember as it was last May. Due to circumstance I have only used it a few times to mow. I used the reverse, and low forward. I also have used the 1-2-3-4 "H". It seems to have two positions for low forward, at least that is how it feels. At first I was not sure I was pushing far enough forward but it seems that there are actually two forward low positions. I do sense much of a speed difference. First question - am I just not fully engaged on the gear or are there two forward low positions? In addition there is a "H" postion on the reverse - low forward lever that implies moving the lever to the right and forward gets me to a high set. I cannot get it in that position.
Second question - is there a "H" position and how do I get in it ie is there some trick? I like the tractor, it is probably a bit big. Thanks in advance for any advice or instruction. Bob
