My wife's job is 1/2 of our income. The company she works for as an accountant told her yesterday that they lost a big contract with their largest customer and they may have zero sales dollars coming in one month from now. My wife is a hard worker and she believes that she would be #3 out of 4 in her dept. to be let go but like I told her they cant pay you with money they dont have. At least the job market is looking better now and I think she could at least get a job for 2/3 her salary in a few weeks but it is a blow to your ego to get laid off. I would appreciate any prayers you guys can offer to the LORD, thanks.

This is the very reason I always tell my employees to keep their resume updated and to always keep learning new skills. In this day and age you can never tell when you might get laid off. I wish you the best of luck.

I've always found that God is never late but sometimes he cuts it close, put your trust in Him and he won't let you down.I've been through a couple of job changes(not by choice)and things always worked out for the better.

Amen, My wife wants to wait until she is sure that the layoffs are coming and maybe wait for a sererence pay. I let her speak her mind but she has only been there 3+ years and a severance pay deal will be small if any. She said she will plan on being a temp. employee if she is out of work for more than a month. Thank God I have little saved up for the possibility of this.

Just allways remember you probley did not have a job when you found the one you have. They are out there and may make more money at the new one. I wish her luck on finding a new job if she gets laid off. Think positive and it will turn out for the best. There are reasons these things happen, I have allways got a better job after loosing one.
