I'm wanting to know if an International V-8 gas engine like an 354 or 392 have an aux. drive on them. I saw a Farmall M with an 354 in it at the Central Iowa Hawkeye Show in Waukee Iowa. What I'd like to try is to put one in Farmall 400 or 450, but driving the hyd. pump to have live power is the problem.

Thanks for the information you supplied- I guess I will have to drive it with a belt or go a different route. If you happen upon any info about a gasser- please let me know!

Thanks again!

Don"t think the one i have has an aux drive. Got a 446 V8 in the old CargoStar rollback truck. Tough old engine.

Kyle, I agree with the others IH didn't make an aux drive on the gassers. Bu I don't see a problem running it of a belt.
OBTW..... Look for a 605 IH irrigation/industerial now that is a true beast!
Later,
John A.

I never saw a IHC V8 gasser with an auxilliary drive. Most all the accessories were belt driven.
