Mark, you will wonder how you ever got along without a loader after you get one. My loader is by far the most used implement I have, all year. I don't have a front blade as yet, but I have most of the steel I will need to build one that will mount in place of the loader bucket. My rear blade is real old and heavy, and so far I haven't ever broken it. But my neck gets tired too.... I have also thought about building some kind of a framework to mount the 3 point rear plow on the loader arms, since that would be an easy way to make it possible to have an adjustable angle. With my rear plow, I try to keep the top link as short as possible, as this keeps the blade from digging in as much. It moves less gravel that way and I would think it would have less of a chance to catch real bad on something. Our weather around Spokane has been unusually mild. For the first time in years, we did not have a white Christmas. It must have been nearly 40 degrees that afternoon when my brother and I went for a walk. So I haven't been plowing much this year. I hope we get some moisture--we really need it. Good luck finding a loader. They are really worth having and if you have one, you are more than halfway there if you need a front blade.
