the first one is pretty much correct, although the "t" maybe belongs a little more to the third syllable. That's the way my Japanese vistors pronounced it.

ker-nervy-land The answer by the way is ka-vern-land. By the way Kubotas are popular here too. I live near the Mucky-cormick tractor plant ( Pronounced Land-in-i ) Renault used to be pronounced Renn-o now it is pronounced Claas!

Kubota makes one fine tractor. Better than most USA made ones which there are NONE left. Maybe thats why. Anything "made" here is assembled here form overseas parts anyways.
